Oh my what a morning
I had an interview for a I/T company in Forest Hill about 45min away from us, so had to get a train then bus to the place. Firstly the train that I was waiting for never came so I got the next one which worked out I was going to be late to the interview. Interview was @ 10am I was at the train station at 8.15am. Finally got to Blackburn station and from what my phone was telling me I had to get on a bus. I turned on the GPS so I knew exactly when I needed to get off and the stupid thing was wrong :(. I was at least 2km away from the destination in stead of 350m. Called a cab and got there about 10.20am. Luckily they were ok and really lovely, this company reminds me CommArc that I worked at back in New Zealand. I left the interview feeling really positive, so fingers crossed.
Worse part of it all was it was hosing down and I still hadn't brought my umbrella, but I have one now :)
I'm about to head into the CBD for a second interview with a company called Navitas, firstly this isn't the role I'd really want to do but I can move up and be in a support role with more money which is appealing. This is in the CBD which is firstly closer to home and t the shopping!
